Development of central-upwind-WENO scheme for two-phase 1-D drift-flux model

چکیده

The two-phase drift flux model is extensively used in multiphase flow applications. In this study, we focus on possible numerical schemes for solving the model. Due to complexity of primitive equations and empirical parameters, it challenging achieve stability scheme high resolution second order central scheme, central-upwind third fifth weighted essentially non-oscillatory (WENO) were successfully implemented tested with shock tube discontinuity problem. central-upwind-WENO was developed applied cell interface values taken from WENO reconstruction, monotone calculated flux. can higher accuracy than by using same stencils which are scheme. gives more accurate results Especially at rarefaction wave fronts, sharper gradients compared other schemes. Instead a limiter function, uses smoothness indicator. All study suitable simulation.
